How to pay Pag-IBIG Membership, MP2 Savings and Housing Loan using Shopee Pay

ShopeePay is the Shopee’s digital wallet which can be used for cashless payments by the Shopee users. It can be used for:

  • Online transactions within Shopee:
    • Buying Mobile Load
    • Bills Payment
  • Offline (QR) transactions with merchants who accept payment via ShopeePay
  • Receiving or sending money to your contacts
  • Bank transfers for your funds to your bank account

For this guide, it will show the steps on how to pay your Pag-IBIG Membership, MP2 Savings and Housing Loan via Shopee Pay. There are few reminders you need to know before paying your Pag-IBIG savings or loans in Shopee Pay.

  • You must enter the correct Pag-IBIG account number or reference number:
    • For Membership Savings – it is a 12-digit starting with number 1 or 9, while for temporary accounts, it should start with “T” followed by 10-digit alphanumeric
    • For Housing Loan – it is a 12 or 20-digits starting with any number
    • For MP2 Savings – it is a 12-digits starting with number 5
  • For mobile number, enter it in the following format 09xxxxxxxxx
  • Select payment type:
    • Membership Savings
    • Housing Loan
    • Modified Pag-IBIG 2
  • For Membership Savings (Period From and Period to fields):
    • Enter the correct coverage period for the amount being paid
    • Overdue payment is not allowed
  • For Modified Pag-IBIG 2 (Region field):
    • Select specific country for OFWs
    • Choose Philippines as default, for non-OFWs
  • You must enter the exact amount to be paid:
    • Membership Savings – minimum of Php 100.00
    • Housing Loans – minimum of Php 100.00
    • MP2 Savings – minimum of Php 500.00
  • A Php 7.00 convenience fee will be charged on top of total transaction
  • Shopee shall not be liable for inaccurate information shared by the user

For Membership Savings:

 
  1. In the Shopee homepage, tap the Load, Bills, & Travel icon.
  2. From the list of bill categories, select Government Services.
  3. Select Pag-IBIG from the list.
  4. Enter the following details and tap the Continue button.
    1. Account Number
    2. Contact Number
    3. Payment Type (Membership Savings)
    4. Period From
    5. Period To
    6. Amount 
  5. Review and confirm the details of the transaction. And for the Payment Option, ShopeePay will be the default. Once confirmed, tap the Pay Now button.
  6. Tap the Pay button to enter your ShopeePay PIN or use the Face Recognition feature to process the payment.
  7. A notification will be displayed once your payment is successful. To view the details, tap View Order Details button.
  8. The reference number (Order ID) and the details of the transaction will be displayed.

For Pag-IBIG MP2 Savings:

 
  1. In the Shopee homepage, tap the Load, Bills, & Travel icon.
  2. From the list of bill categories, select Government Services.
  3. Select SSS Contribution from the list.
  4. Enter the following details and tap the Continue button.
    1. Account Number
    2. Contact Number
    3. Payment Type (Pag-IBIG Modified 2)
    4. Region
    5. Amount
  5. Review and confirm the details of the transaction. And for the Payment Option, ShopeePay will be the default. Once confirmed, tap the Pay Now button.
  6. Tap the Pay button to enter your ShopeePay PIN or use the Face Recognition feature to process the payment.
  7. A notification will be displayed once your payment is successful. To view the details, tap View Order Details button.
  8. The reference number (Order ID) and the details of the transaction will be displayed.

No fund yet?

There are a lot of ways to cash-in your Shopee account, either online or over the counter. For online, you can pay via your e-wallet, online banking account and even linked your bank account for easy funding. While for over the counter payment, you can proceed to the partnered bank and payment center to do the cash-in.

You can cash in or receive a balance of up to Php 50,000 for unverified accounts, and up to Php 100,000 for verified accounts.

You can use ShopeePay to pay for transactions of up to Php 100,000, as long as you have sufficient funds within your account. The minimum amount required for each ShopeePay transaction is Php 1.
