How to pay SSS Contribution via Shopee Pay

ShopeePay is the Shopee’s digital wallet which can be used for cashless payments by the Shopee users. It can be used for:

  • Online transactions within Shopee:
    • Buying Mobile Load
    • Bills Payment
  • Offline (QR) transactions with merchants who accept payment via ShopeePay
  • Receiving or sending money to your contacts
  • Bank transfers for your funds to your bank account

For this guide, it will show the steps on how to pay your SSS Contribution via Shopee Pay. There are few reminders you need to know before paying your contribution in Shopee Pay.

  • Currently, Shopee Pay is accepting payment for contribution and payment from self-employed, voluntary, non-working spouse and OFWs. The following are the identifier of every member type:
    • S - Self-Employed (Example: S071800002314)
    • V - Voluntary (Example: V071800002314)
    • N - Non-Working Spouse (Example: N071800002314)
    • O - OFW (Example: O071800002314)
  • Those SSS members who are employed or enrolled under an employer, the records/payments are not accepted in this channel
  • In the Account No tab, enter the Payment Reference Number (PRN). This PRN is generated from your SSS online account.
  • Enter the exact amount or SSS Contribution to be paid
  • Make sure that all information is correct before making the payment. Users shall take full responsibility for submitting the correct information
  • Shopee shall not be held liable for inaccurate information shared by the user
  1. In the Shopee homepage, tap the Load, Bills, & Travel icon.
  2. From the list of bill categories, select Government Services.
  3. Select SSS Contribution from the list.
  4. In the Account No, enter the PRN (Payment Reference Number) which is generated from your SSS online account. Then, enter the exact amount to be paid. And tap the Continue button.
  5. Review and confirm the details of the transaction. And for the Payment Option, ShopeePay will be the default. Once confirmed, tap the Pay Now button.
  6. Tap the Pay button to enter your ShopeePay PIN or use the Face Recognition feature to process the payment.
  7. A notification will be displayed once your payment is successful. To view the details, tap View Order Details button.
  8. The reference number (Order ID) and the details of the transaction will be displayed.
STEP 1. Tap Load, Bills, & Travel icon.
STEP 2. Press Government Services button.
STEP 3. Select SSS Contribution.
STEP 4. Enter PRN and amount to be paid.
STEP 5. Review details and confirm payment.
STEP 6. Enter ShopeePay PIN to process payment.
STEP 7. Payment successful.
STEP 8. A copy of the payment transaction.

You can cash in or receive a balance of up to Php 50,000 for unverified accounts, and up to Php 100,000 for verified accounts.

You can use ShopeePay to pay for transactions of up to Php 100,000, as long as you have sufficient funds within your account. The minimum amount required for each ShopeePay transaction is Php 1.
