How to reload Beep™ card online using GCash account

Beep™ card is a stored value contactless card used primarily as the fare system in the metro and light rail transit railways in Metro Manila – LRT1, LRT2 and MRT3. This card also can be used in selected Point-to-Point (P2P) buses and PUVs nationwide. Outside of public transportation, beep™ can also be used to pay for toll fees in NLEX and CAVITEX and is accepted in various retail establishments such as FamilyMart, Ministop, and Wendy’s. (Source)

For easy and convenient access to your card, beep ™ introduced their mobile app. With this app, you can check the load balance and view your card transactions. This app is available on Google Play and the App Store. 

 

For android users with NFC-enabled phones, additional features are available – to buy load via the app and recharge the amount to your beep card. To know if your Android phone is NFC-enabled, slide down your phone and find the NFC logo (see sample photo). Tap the icon to enable the feature. Another way to check this function is by going to your phone settings and search for the NFC and enable it from there.

If you do not have the Beep app yet, click the icon to download the app in Google Play or App Store. Please note that for iOS devices, you can only check the load balance of your beep card, but there is no option to reload via the app. Reloading via the app is only available in NFC-enabled android phones.

After successful registration and successfully added your beep card, you can now reload it. Just select the beep card and follow these steps:

After the payment confirmation, go back to the Beep app. You need to tap your beep card at the back of your phone to load the amount that has been paid.

    Good Day,
    I loaded my beep card yesterday and had not credited since today. Upon checking on it, my phone needs to have that NFC, unfortunately I don’t have one.
    How can I get back my payment.
    I need assistance on this matter.

      Hi, try to check your beep card balance in any beep load station in LRT/MRT station. Check if the amount is credited or not.
      Or check it in any Android Smartphone with NFC with Beep app installed.

    if I don’t have NFC on my smart phone, but I load 200 pesos on beep card using GCASH, the confirmation is there, but I didn’t appear on beep card.
