Social Security System or SSS announced the release of the updated version of the SSS Mobile app last Sept 6, 2019. In this new version, you can now view and generate your Payment Reference Number (PRN) for SSS contribution payment.
Payment Reference Number or PRN is required for SSS Voluntary Members, Self-Employed and OFWs when paying for their SSS contribution. Below is a quick guide on how to access and generate SSS Payment Reference Number (PRN) using the SSS Mobile app.

STEP 1. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL SSS MOBILE APPLICATION
To begin the process of accessing your SSS account on your mobile device, the first step is to download the SSS mobile app. You can easily do this by visiting Google Play for Android devices or the Apple Store for iPhone and iPad users. Once you’ve navigated to the appropriate store, simply search for the SSS Mobile app and click download. The process is quick and easy, and once you’ve completed the download, you’ll have full access to your SSS account from the convenience of your mobile device. With the SSS Mobile app, you’ll be able to monitor your contributions, check your loan balances, and even file for benefit claims. So why delay? Download the SSS Mobile app today and take control of your SSS account.
STEP 2. OPEN SSS MOBILE APP AND LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT
To access the app, you will need to locate the SSS Mobile App icon on your phone’s home screen or app drawer. Once you have located the icon, simply tap on it to open the SSS login menu.
In the login menu, enter your User ID and Password and click SIGN IN button to continue.
STEP 3. VIEW OR GENERATE PAYMENT REFERENCE NUMBER (PRN)
To proceed with generating your PRN, please follow these simple steps:
1. Firstly, click on the Generate PRN button to proceed.
2. Once your PRN list has been generated, you will be able to view all the necessary information related to your PRN.
2. A PRN List will appear showing all available PRN with the details of your account.
Or if you want to modify your PRN, then click the CREATE button.
If you have clicked the CREATE button, you can edit your PRN details.
1. Select Membership Type - OFW or Voluntary Member
2. Select the applicable period you want to pay.
3. Select your monthly contribution.
Total amount to be paid will be calculated.
Once ready, click the Submit button to continue.
4. A summary of your request will pop-up, if all information is correct, click OK button to proceed.
5. A new PRN will appear in your PRN Lists. Click the VIEW button to see details and print the form.
