Using the GCash mobile app, you have the option to pay for your Meralco bill. You can now use the 10-digit Customer Account Number (CAN), instead of the 26-digit reference number.

Pay Meralco bill
1 On the main dashboard, tap the Pay Bills icon to start the process.
2 Under Biller Categories, select the Electric Utilities icon.
3 Under Electric Utilities, browse and tap the Meralco name.
4 Now, enter the 10-digit Customer Account Number (CAN) which is located on the Meralco bill. And input the amount due stated on your bill.
Click the NEXT button to continue.
5 Select the Payment Source: GCash or GCredit.
6 Review your transaction, then click the CONFIRM button to process the payment.
7 Once the payment is successful, the payment reference number with the details of the transaction will be enumerated. Click the DONE button to go back to the main dashboard.
