How to transfer money from RCBC to GCash account

RCBC offers Online Services to their customers through the use of RCBC Online Banking and Mobile App. With these online facilities, you can access and manage your RCBC accounts, transfer funds, pay bills and other available features, anytime, anywhere.

By downloading the RCBC app on your phone, you can easily access your RCBC accounts and do banking whenever you want. And, one of the features of this app is the Bills Payment. With few clicks, utility bills and other services can be paid through the app.

 

RCBC Digital app Features:

  • Fund Transfers – transfer funds to other local banks and e-wallets via Instapay or send large amounts via PESONet

  • Online Investments – monitor and redeem UITFs and time deposits without going to the branch

  • Digital Concierge – Online request of bank certificates, ATM replacements and checkbook reorders in advance 

As one of the features of the RCBC Digital app is Fund Transfer, in this guide, it will show the steps on how to transfer funds from an RCBC account to a GCash account.

  1. In the left menu, select Fund Transfer.
  2. To transfer fund, press the Bank Transfer button.
  3. Before selecting the bill to be paid, you need to select the Source Account, this is the account from which the amount will be deducted.
  4. Then, tap Select Account below Destination Account.
    1. Tap Select Bank to go to the list of banks and choose GCash.
    2. Enter the Account Number or Mobile Number or the registered Email Address of the GCash destination account.
    3. Input the GCash account name.
  5. Next is to select the transfer channel. For this transfer, InstaPay has been selected. 
    1. Select InstaPay to receive the funds in real time. The service fee is P25.00 and the transaction limit per day is P50,000.00
    2. Select PESONet if you are transferring a large amount, but this will take more time to process. The service fee is P10.00.
  6. Enter the amount to be transferred. Writing a remark is an option. And to proceed, tap the Transfer Now button.
  7. Review the details and tap the Transfer Now button to process the fund transfer.
  8. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  9. A notification message with the transaction reference number will appear once the fund transfer is successful.
