How to top-up GrabPay wallet via BDO Mobile App

GrabPay is a mobile wallet that you can use for a hassle-free cashless payments for Grab services. Activating this feature, you can unlock more Grab services such as online shopping, paying your bills, buying prepaid load & more. Also, you will earn GrabRewards points for GrabFood, in-store, and online transactions made with GrabPay.

Before you can use the GrabPay wallet feature, you must first activate it. Here's a quick guide on how to activate GrabPay wallet in your Grab account:

After you unlock the GrabPay wallet, you can now add funds to it, which can be used for payment on your GrabFood order, Bills Payment, GrabRide request, and any other Grab service.

There are a few ways to top-up your wallet: (1) via Credit Card or Debit Card, (2) Online Banking and ATM, (3) Grab Driver using Cash and (4) Grab's partner stores. To know how to add credits to your GrabPay wallet via BDO Mobile app, follow the quick guide below:

An easier way is now available, as GrabPay is now in Instapay, you can transfer money from your BDO account directly to any GrabPay account via InstaPay.

STEP 1: Select Online Banking for Cash-in

1 On the main dashboard, tap the Grab Wallet icon (upper-right) or the Payment icon (middle-bottom) to start the process.

2 To top-up credit on your GrabPay wallet, select the Cash In icon.

3 To fund your wallet using Online Banking, tap the Online banking and ATM option.

 

4 Select a top-up value or enter the amount in the space provided. The minimum amount that you can add to your account is Php 200. Then, select Online Banking for the payment method. And, tap the SUBMIT button for the next step.

5 Select BDO Internet Banking from the list. 

6 Payment reference number will be generated for this transaction. Take note of this number and follow the instructions to complete the payment using BDO Mobile app or on BDO Online Banking website. You need to transfer the money on this account:

  • Account Name: 001678005430
  • Account Name: Dragonpay Corporation

STEP 2. Transfer funds from BDO Online Banking account

1 For this guide, BDO Mobile app is used, but you can also use BDO Online Banking website to complete this transaction. Enter your User ID and Password, and tap the LOGIN button.

2 On the bottom menu, tap the Send Money icon. Then, select To Any BDO Account option to continue.

 

3 Enter the following details:

  • Send from – Select BDO account where the payment will be deducted
  • Amount – Enter the amount to be paid
  • Destination Account – Enter the Account Number (001678005430) of Dragonpay Corporation indicated in the Grab instructions 
  • Remarks – Enter the Payment Reference Number indicated fin the Grab instructions

Then, tap the CONTINUE button for the next step.

 

4 Review the details of the transactions, if all correct, tap the CONFIRM button to process the payment.

 

5 Once your payment has been successful, copy the last 8-digit of the Reference Number. This number is required to confirm your payment in the Grab app.

STEP 3. Validate transaction

1 Go back to the Grab instructions, click the use this link button in Step 2 to confirm your payment. 

2 Enter the last 8-digit of the Reference Number from BDO transaction. And, tap the Validate button for processing.

3 Once the validation is accepted, you can now go back to the Grab home menu.

4 A pop-up message will show that you have successfully top-up your GrabPay wallet using your BDO Mobile Banking.
