How to enroll your account in BDO Online Banking

BDO Unibank, Inc (BDO) is the largest bank in the Philippines in terms of total assets and market capitalization. As of 2018, BDO has the largest distribution network in the country, with more than 1,200 operating branches and over 4,000 ATMs nationwide. (Source)

BDO customers have an option to enroll their account in online banking for an easy, fast and secure access to their account anytime, anywhere. Using their personal gadgets such as PCs, laptops, smartphones, and tablets, they can access BDO Online Banking website.

To enroll your BDO Accounts for online banking, below is a step-by-step guide that you can follow. There are two options to enroll your account based on your location. If you are in the Philippines, you can enroll using your BDO Debit ATM card number while if you are abroad, you need to enroll using your BDO Savings Account number.

For BDO clients enrolling within the Philippines:

  1. Go to https://online.bdo.com.ph/ or type this link in your browser. 
  2. Below the login menu, click the Not Yet Enrolled? Enroll Now!.

3. Read the Electronic Banking Terms and Conditions of Use. Tick (✓) the box below the page to agree with the terms and conditions. Click Submit button to continue.

4. To start the online banking enrollment, select the type of account to enroll.

Only the following accounts are allowed for initial enrollment: (1) Individual or Joint “OR” ATM-based Savings or Current Account; (2) Credit Card (Principal Card)

Other BDO accounts like Time Deposits, Cash Card, Consumer Loans and Trust Accounts may be enrolled as additional accounts once you have activated your Online Banking. 

5. Select Within the Philippines, if you are enrolling your account anywhere in the Philippines. If you are enrolling abroad, click here for the quick guide.

6. Tick (✓) the box to select Online Banking for the channel of enrollment. Then, enter your 16-digit ATM Card Number and preferred nickname for the account.

7. Now, you can nominate your online banking information. Enter your preferred User ID and type-in your password, then re-enter the password to confirm. You also need to provide your mobile number and email address.

Note: For security reasons, DO NOT give or provide your username and password to anyone.

Please ensure that the nominated number is your valid contact details. This will serve as your registered mobile number for Online Banking transactions where One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent via SMS. You need to keep your devices, registered mobile number and password secured at all times.

8. Validate your enrollment by entering the code shown in your display same as below.

9. For your feedback, select from the drop-down menu, on how did you learn about BDO Online Banking. Once you have reviewed and ensure that all information you have provided are correct, click the Submit button.

10. Take note of your ATM Activation code found on the acknowledgement page. You will need this code for your enrollment activation.

11. Go to any BDO ATM machine. Using your ATM Debit Card, select “Other Services” > “Activate Electronic Banking”, and enter your ATM Activation Code. 

Note: You may use your BDO Online Banking account after 24 hours from ATM activation.

For BDO clients enrolling outside the Philippines:

  1. Go to https://online.bdo.com.ph/ or type this link in your browser. 
  2. Below the login menu, click the Not Yet Enrolled? Enroll Now!.

5.  Select Outside of the Philippines, if you are enrolling abroad. You need to select on which city or country you are now and your preferred local time to be called to verify  your enrollment. If you are enrolling within the Philippines, click here for the quick guide.

6. For clients enrolling outside the Philippines, you need to enroll using your BDO account number. Enter the 12-digit BDO Account Number and select the Account Type (Peso and Dollar Savings Account and Peso Checking Account). Then, type-in your preferred nickname for the account.

7. Now, you can nominate your online banking information. Enter your preferred User ID then type-in your password and re-enter to confirm. You also need to provide your mobile number and email address.

Note: For security reasons, DO NOT give or provide your username and password to anyone.

8. Validate your enrollment by entering the code shown in your display same as below.

9. For your feedback, select from the drop-down menu, on how did you learn about BDO Online Banking. Once you have reviewed and ensure that all information you have provided are correct, click the Submit button.

10. Once the enrollment form is submitted, wait for a call from BDO Customer Service Officer to verify your enrollment within five (5) working days.

11. Once a BDO Customer Service Officer verified your account, wait for the activation email.

Note: You may use your BDO Online Banking account upon the receipt of activation email.
