How to top-up GrabPay wallet via GCash

GrabPay Philippines has now been added to participating banks and e-money issuers that use Instapay for money transfers. With InstaPay, you can now transfer funds to your GrabPay account in real-time from GCash and other participating BSP-supervised banks and non-bank e-money issuers in the Philippines.

To send money via InstaPay, customers need to access their bank’s or e-money issuer’s mobile app or internet banking facility, choose to send to another institution via InstaPay, and provide the required details.

Download the GCash mobile app, using Google Play for Android phones or download in the Apple Store for iPhone and iPad users. Click the icon below and it will be directed to GCash mobile app.  You can also find this mobile app by typing GCash in Google Play or Apple Store search tab.

Fund Transfer - GCash to GrabPay

1 On the main dashboard, tap the Bank Transfer icon to start the process.

2 From the list, select GrabPay.

3 Enter the amount to be transferred and fill in the GrabPay account name and account number (i.e mobile number).

Then, tap the SEND MONEY button for the next step.

 

4 Verify the details you have entered and press the CONFIRM button to process the money transfer. This money transfer is powered by InstaPay.

*Note: InstaPay service charge has been waived during the ECQ/GCQ or Lockdown period.

 

5 Once the transaction has been successful, the details of your money transfer will appear with the ticket number and GCash reference number. And, the transaction receipt will be sent also to your email address. 

In Grab app, it will show the transferred amount has been added to GrabPay wallet.
