Hello Money is an e-wallet app powered by Asia United Bank (AUB) – a commercial bank in the Philippines. The app can be downloaded on your smartphones through Google Play Store or App Store. Once installed, users can register and open an account online. You can open a prepaid bank account without the need to go to a physical branch.
Once your application has been approved, you will now be able to login to your account using the Hello Money app. Features that are available in the app are the following:
- Transfer Funds to E-Wallets, another local banks, other HelloMoney/AUB account
- Pay Bills – utilities, credit cards, tuition fees
- Cash in or top up via 711 branches nationwide, fund transfer via Instapay from e-wallet account and other local banks
- Send money to your loved ones via PERA PADALA through our cash out partners (Cebuana Lhuiller, Palawan, LBC Express, M. Lhuiller and AUB branches)
- Buy Prepaid Load (Globe, Smart, Sun, PLDT, Meralco, DITO)
- Scan to Pay via QR code at any QR PH P2M merchant nationwide
As bill payment is one the features available in the app, for this guide, it will show the steps on how to pay MERALCO bill with HelloMoney by AUB app.
Here are the steps on how to pay your MERALCO bill with HelloMoney by AUB app.
- In the main dashboard, tap the Pay Bills button.
- Press the down arrow to choose the Biller Institution.
- Select Bills Payment.
- Using the Search tab, type MERALCO and select it from the list.
- Enter your MERALCO Customer Account Number (CAN), account name and amount to be paid. And tap CONTINUE button.
- Review the details you have entered and press CONFIRM button to process the payment.
- Enter your login password and click the SUBMIT button.
- A notification will be displayed that the payment is successful with the payment reference number and details of the transaction.
