Hello Money is an e-wallet app powered by Asia United Bank (AUB) – a commercial bank in the Philippines. The app can be downloaded on your smartphones through Google Play Store or App Store. Once installed, users can register and open an account online. You can open a prepaid bank account without the need to go to a physical branch. The account needs:
- No initial deposit
- No maintaining balance required
- No dormancy charges
- One valid ID required for account opening
- Should have a steady internet connection
- Active mobile number and email address
- Pair your account with an optional HelloMoney ATM Card to access your funds from ATM machines Nationwide and perform POS Payments

To download and install the app, click the icon below:
Once installed, open the app and tap the OPEN AN ACCOUNT button and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Tap OPEN AN ACCOUNT button.
- Read the reminders and click CONTINUE.
- Select the ID type and take a photo of the front and back side of ID.
- Enter your personal details, mobile number and email address. Set and confirm your password also.
- Enter the verification code sent to your mobile number.
- Input the verification code sent to your email address.
- Write your birth date, gender, address and other required details and press NEXT button.
- Take a video of yourself stating your name, birthday and address.
- Tap to input your signature and tick the box to accept and agree with the terms and conditions. And tap the SUBMIT button.
- The application will be submitted. You will receive an email within the next banking day to confirm the status of your application.
Check your email to see if your application has been approved. You will receive a message similar to the one below if the application is approved.
Once approved, you will now be able to login to your account using the Hello Money app. Use your email address or mobile number as user ID and enter your password to login to your account.
