The new POEA e-Services Portal is the POEA’s online service facility which offers convenient and easy access to online services to the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), foreign employers, recruitment agencies and other government agencies/entities who are involved in overseas employment programs. The portal is available for the following:
- Access of overseas employment information
- Agency License Application
- Filling requests for registration of principals
- Application for issuance of overseas employment certificate (OEC)
- Overseas employment Registration
- Payment for processing fees
- Verification of status of transactions
UPDATE: The POEA is now called Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) as mandated by Republic Act No. 11641.
The portal interfaces with other government agencies’ information systems to enable the direct validation of information entered by the users to the portal, thereby streamlining the business processes and effecting a positive economic benefit. This is part of a larger program that intends to implement data sharing and information exchange with other government agencies to facilitate the authentication of the supporting documents, validation of credentials presented by OFWs and general verification of the existence of personal, educational and professional records in other government agencies.
The e-Registration component of the POEA e-Services Portal offers the facility for Filipino worker applicants who are aspiring for overseas employment, either through POEA-licensed agencies (Landbased or Sea-based) or POEA’s Government Placement Branch (GPB).
