For OFWs: How to check OWWA Membership status online

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, more commonly known as OWWA, has recently launched a new mobile application that is aimed at providing an easier and more convenient way for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to check their membership status. Not only does this app allow OFWs to see their current status, but it also grants them access to view and update personal information. In addition, the app enables members to instantly and conveniently renew their OWWA membership through its secure and efficient online payment system. With this app, OFWs can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they can easily manage their OWWA membership, without the need to visit their nearest OWWA office. Best of all, the OWWA Mobile App is free and available for download in both the Google Play and App Store.

Are you a member of OWWA and interested in downloading their app but unsure how to do so? Well, worry no more because we have provided a quick guide on how to download and register an account on the OWWA app.

With the OWWA app, you can easily view your profile and renew your membership hassle-free. So, here’s how to get started. Firstly, make sure you have a stable internet connection to ensure a smooth download process. Secondly, head to the App Store or Google Play Store, depending on the device you’re using, and search for the “OWWA Membership” app. Once found, click the “Download” button, and allow the app to be installed on your device. Lastly, open the app and register using your personal details to create an account. And there you have it, easy as pie. Enjoy the convenient services provided by OWWA all on your mobile device with just a few clicks.

STEP 1. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL OWWA APP

Click the corresponding icon below to download the OWWA Mobile App in Google Play for Android phones or in Apple Store for Iphone and Ipad users.

STEP 2. REGISTER OR LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT

STEP 3. CHECK OWWA MEMBERSHIP STATUS

To check your OWWA Membership status, go to the Information tab. If the status is ACTIVE, your membership is still valid until the stated validity date, while if INACTIVE, there is an option to renew your membership (here’s how to renew).

Basic information is also enumerated. If you want to edit or update your details, you can tap the Update Information button. NOTE: The OWWA app is crashing if you click the Update Information button.  

You can also view and check your latest employment contract information, list of beneficiary and payment history of your membership fee. 

If you prefer to change your initial password, tap the Settings icon and click the Change Password button.

 

Aside from the Member’s Profile, the app also shows the list of offered services and regional and overseas hotline numbers if you want to contact OWWA for your inquiries and concerns.

    Hello po. Nakaregister na po ako taz in active yung membership ko, pagkaclick ko sa renew option, wala naman pong nag aapear na google or safari for renewal.

      Hi, dapat pagkaclick mo renew button, may lalabas na pop message na Terms of Service, click mo un “I Accept” at saka lalabas un option ng Safari o Chrome… kapag wala naman, iclose mo muna un app, then open mo uli, try ln uli.. baka minsan system error ln…

        Maam lately ko lng po nka check na wrong spelling pala ang nkalagay sa owwa membership receipt at andon na rn ang Owwa Id number, kaya cguro d ako makapasok sa owwA app kasi wrong spelling po name ko sa owwa. Binigyan ko nman sila ng correct spelling ng name ko bakit pa nagkamali sila pauwi p nMan ako this coming aug.10

          di naman po hinahanap ang OWWA sa pag-uwi… ayusin nyo na ln habang bakasyon kayo, para sa sunod na alis, ok na spelling ng name nyo… kung un ibang details naman tama, ok naman po siguro yun., visit OWWA na ln habang nakabakasyon para maitama ang spelling

      Paano po maedit ang info like marriage status kase single ako tapos married nakalagay, ito pa malala, may pangalang nakalagay sa beneficiary as my spouse daw pero di ko naman kilala at ang apelyido ay yung mismong apelyido ko, tapos ang nalagay na apelyido ng tatay ko ay yung mismong apelyido ng nanay ko noong dalaga pa. Ang gulo po, paano kaya maedit yun? Wala kaseng nakalagay na edit para dun.

        Hi Kabayan, sa ngayon wala pa silang edit button para maedit ang beneficiary at iba pang details.
        Itry mo mag-email sa OWWA, [email protected], para maitanong kung maari mong papalitan ang iyong details sa OWWA profile mo. Bka kailagan mo ln magsend ng mga documents para mapalitan ang details. Try mo din i-visit ang FB page ng OWWA at i-chat sila para sa iyong katanungan, https://www.facebook.com/OWWAofficial.

        At kung hindi pwede, baka kailangan mo bumisita sa any OWWA branch para ipa-update ang details.

    sinunod ko ung steps sa taas kc wla akong account pa pero pagclick ko ng register meron lumabas na message : “Alert Sorry, you do not have an OWWA account.”

    Hello ask ko lang po active pa membership ko kakabayad ko lang last april 2020 nung umuwe ako then pagbalik ko ng dubai ngchange employer nako..pwede ko ba maupdate ang details like employer and passport number sa owwa app.?

      Hi, Email address, contact number, at address ln ang pwede i-update via OWWA app. For change of employer, kailangan mo bumisita sa POEA office (sa Pinas or dyan sa Dubai) para ma-update details mo at para mas madali na rin kumuha ng OEC/Exemption sa sunod na balik mo sa UAE.

    Mukhang hindi binayara. Ng agency ko ung owwa membership ko ngayon. Naka inactive status ako samantalang 7 months na ako dito ngayon sa saudi. Panu po yun? Pati ung passport no.ko di pa updated. At ung receipt ko last 2017 pa.

      i-verify mo muna siguro sa agency kung hindi talaga nabayaran.
      kung hindi pa nabayaran, pwede click mo Renew Membership button para malaman kung magkano babayaran, iprint mo un transaction at pwede pabayaran sa Pinas like sa Bayad Center, SM at iba pa.

    Hi good evening. What if permanent resident ka na ng particular na bansa, and nag change employer ka dahil you’re out of contract na from your previous employer. Pwede ka pa rin bang mag member sa OWWA? Can we update the following employer name, address and the like dito sa app..Salamat in advance sa reply

      pwede ka tumawag o pumunta sa OWWA/POLO, kung nasaan bansa ka man ngaun, para itanong ang process ng pag-update ng OWWA details mo.

      Hi Kabayan, parang ADD BENEFICIARY pa ln ang available option sa app. wala pang way sa app para ma-edit at ma-delete un existing beneficiary.
      Try mo muna mag-email sa OWWA baka pwede irequest ln via email ang change of beneficiary, [email protected].
      Kung hindi pwede, visit ka na ln sa OWWA office, meron din OWWA satellite office sa POEA.

    Good day Po… Active Po yong status ko sa owwa by mistake Po na click ko yong renew button tapos na pay Ako Tru online, SA payment history ko Po na renew Siya august 2022 at last Dec.2022 paano Po yon doble po yong nabayad ko yong kontrak ko Po mg end 2024 pwede ko Po bang ma refund yon?
