Did you know that OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) has a mobile app where OFWs can check their membership status? It also provides access to view and update information and has the option to pay for membership renewal. The OWWA Mobile app is available to download in Google Play and App Store.
To know the steps on how to download the OWWA app and register an account to view your profile, follow the quick guide below.
STEP 1. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL OWWA APP
Click the corresponding icon below to download the OWWA Mobile App in Google Play for Android phones or in Apple Store for Iphone and Ipad users.
Click this icon for Android user and it will open OWWA Mobile app in Google Play
Click this icon for Iphone and Ipad users and it will open OWWA Mobile app in App Store
STEP 2. REGISTER OR LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT
STEP 3. CHECK OWWA MEMBERSHIP STATUS
To check your OWWA Membership status, go to the Information tab. If the status is ACTIVE, your membership is still valid until the stated validity date, while if INACTIVE, there is an option to renew your membership (here’s how to renew).
Basic information is also enumerated. If you want to edit or update your details, you can tap the Update Information button. NOTE: The OWWA app is crashing if you click the Update Information button.
You can also view and check your latest employment contract information, list of beneficiary and payment history of your membership fee.
If you prefer to change your initial password, tap the Settings icon and click the Change Password button.
