The Professional Regulation Commission or PRC provides an online verification service that allows individuals and employers to confirm the identities and license records of registered professionals. This service is designed to provide convenience and ease of access for users who need to verify the qualifications and credentials of licensed professionals. By accessing the PRC website and using the online verification service, users can confirm the status of a professional’s license, as well as review their qualifications, exam scores, and other pertinent information. This service is a valuable tool for ensuring that licensed professionals meet the necessary standards for their respective fields and can be trusted to provide high-quality services to their clients and customers.
The online verification of license of registered professional is a convenient way for individuals and employers to confirm the credentials of a licensed professional. This online system allows users to access the records of successful examinees and registered professionals, ensuring that they have passed the necessary exams and met the required standards for their profession. By using this system, employers can verify the qualifications of potential hires, while individuals can ensure that the professionals they are working with are properly licensed and qualified. The online verification process is quick, easy, and secure, providing peace of mind to all parties involved.
There are two ways to verify your PRC License records: Verification by Name and Verification by License Number. To know the process of PRC License verification, read the quick guide below.
STEP 1: Go to PRC Online Services website
In order to access PRC Online Services, kindly click on the link provided for you: https://online.prc.gov.ph. This link will lead you straight to the Online Services page of the PRC. Once you are on the page, you will see a Verification tab. Under this tab, kindly proceed to ‘Click Here‘ button that is located below. By clicking this button, you will be redirected to the page where you can verify your PRC registration by providing your details.
STEP 2: Verify PRC license either by name or by license number.
There are two ways to check your PRC records:
- In order to make use of this particular option, you will first need to utilize the drop-down menu function provided to select the profession that most accurately reflects your actual job title or field of expertise (for example, you might choose to identify yourself as an Aeronautical Engineer). Following this step, you will be prompted to manually enter your first and last name into the appropriate text fields, so that we can accurately verify your identity and ensure that you have full access to all available features and resources. Once you have inputted this personal information, you may then proceed by clicking the prominently-displayed VERIFY button that is clearly visible on the page, as this will signal to our system that you are authorized and eligible to use this option and all associated benefits and services.
2. You might notice that there is a feature that can verify your professional record. It’s a straightforward process that involves filling out the necessary information and waiting a short while for the system to verify your record. Once you have completed this process, you will be pleased to know that your name will display as a Verified PRC Professional in a pop-up window. This can be extremely beneficial when you are looking for employment or trying to showcase your skills to potential clients. It can provide further validation to your credentials, and help you stand out among other applicants. It’s a simple way to ensure that your professional record is accurately represented, and that you have the best chance at success in your field.
3. Otherwise, if you happen to input incorrect information or if the search results return no matches, there is no need to panic. The system is designed to inform you of this situation through a message that will appear on the screen, specifically on the upper right corner of the page. The message will clearly state that no records have been found for your search query. It is understandable that sometimes it may be frustrating not to find the information that you are looking for, maybe it is only a system glitch. You can contact PRC for this concern.
- When it comes to selecting your profession under this option, it’s important to make sure you choose the correct one from the drop-down menu. There are various options available, such as Aeronautical Engineer, so it’s important to take the time to ensure you’ve chosen the right one. Once you’ve selected your profession, you’ll also need to provide your license number and birth date into the appropriate fields. This information is crucial for verifying your identity and ensuring that you’re eligible for the option you’ve selected. Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, simply click the “VERIFY” button. This will allow our system to quickly and accurately verify your identity and ensure that you’re able to proceed with the chosen option. By following these steps carefully and providing accurate information, you’ll be on your way to successfully completing this process.
2. When you access your record, you will be pleased to see that all the details pertaining to your registration are displayed in a user-friendly window. The window provides you with information such as your full name, profession, the initial registration date, as well as the license expiration date. Furthermore, you will also be able to view the status of your license, which will enable you to stay up-to-date with your professional obligations. The status of your license will indicate whether it is valid or expired. This will allow you to take the necessary actions to renew or update your license in order to continue practicing your profession. With this easy-to-use feature, you can access all the details of your registration quickly and with ease.
3. As per the system’s operation, in case the searched record is not found, the system will kindly generate a message for your convenience. This message will be stationed at the upper right corner of your screen, ensuring its visibility and accessibility. The message will contain a phrase that states that “no results were found”. Be rest assured that this message serves to provide you with prompt and accurate feedback on the availability of your desired record. You can contact PRC if this case happens.

Is it possible that a registered nurse name will not be posted in prc online verification.?
Hi Karen,
Have you tried both ways of verification? By name or by license number?
A disclaimer is added to the verification page “DISCLAIMER: This verification service is intended solely for the facilitation of online queries …..While the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) believes the information to be reliable, human or mechanical error remains a possibility, as does delay in the posting or updating of the information.”
So there is a possibility that their online database list is not complete.
If you want to contact PRC regarding this matter, you can use their Contact Us form, https://www.prc.gov.ph/public-assistance.
Kind regards,
Ali

good day! just wanna ask how many months does it take for the change of status to be effective? I change my status from single to married last month and was advise to check updates after a month, but upon checking, I discovered that its still the same as before. I was hoping to renew my license immediately after the change of status. Kindly advise of where can I check updates please.
Hi Madel,
I believe a change of status in PRC will take 3 months to process. If you applied in any PRC office, they usually provide a claim stub with a date when you can come back to claim the new PRC ID (based on experience 2 years ago). You can renew your license and change your status at the same time, so once the new PRC id is released, it will show your married name.
