How to renew Professional Identification Card (PIC) or PRC ID Card online

One of the Online Services provided by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is to be able to set an appointment date online for the renewal of Professional Identification Card (PIC) or PRC ID of Registered Professionals.

STEP 1: Go to PRC Online Services website

Click this link – https://online.prc.gov.ph or https://online1.prc.gov.ph – to access PRC Online Services.

STEP 2: Account Registration

1. If you do not have an account yet, click the REGISTER tab. Read the terms and conditions and tap the I AGREE button to start the registration.

2. Fill-up the registration form with your full name, gender, civil status and birth date. Enter your email address and create a password. 

Tick (âś“) the box I’m not a robot. And click the REGISTER button to complete the registration.

STEP 3: Account Sign-in

1. Once you have registered successfully, click the SIGN IN tab to log in to your account. Enter your Email Address and Password. Then, tick (âś“) the box I’m not a robot. And, click the SIGN IN button to open your account.

2. For first time users, you need to fill-up the following form to complete your profile: 

  • Personal Information
  • Contact Details
  • Family Background
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Valid ID (Passport for SPLE Applicants)
  • Other Information
Double check the information entered then click the SAVE INFORMATION button to save the profile.

STEP 4: Select Transaction - Renewal

1. To renew your PRC ID, click the SELECT TRANSACTION button to start the process.

2. Select the RENEWAL tab and choose your Profession from the drop-down menu selection. Then, enter your PRC License Number.

Click the PROCEED button to continue.

3. For certain professions, as an additional requirement, you need to submit an updated Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from your Accredited Professional Organization (APO).

STEP 5: Set an Appointment Date

Choose your preferred PRC Regional Office or PRC Branch where you want to claim your Professional ID card. Once selected, the scheduled date and time will appear. If you are available on that day, click the PROCEED button to confirm, otherwise click the RESCHEDULE button to select a different date.

If you have selected to reschedule your appointment date, select a new date and state a valid reason for replacing the original date. Then, click CONFIRM button to continue.

Note: You can only reschedule your appointment once per transaction.

STEP 6: Payment Option

1. These are the payment options where you can pay for the renewal fees:

  • Pay Maya (Debit and Credit Card)
  • Pay Maya app
  • BancNet Online
  • Landbank Online
  • GCash app
  • UCPB Over the Counter
  • UCPB Online Banking
  • PRC Cashier

2. For this tutorial, the payment channel selected was PRC Cashier. Click the SUBMIT button to generate the reference number.

3. If the transaction was successful, the Reference Number and other details of the appointment will be shown. Take a photo or screenshot of the reference number and show this to the PRC personnel.

4. The details of the transaction are also found in the Existing Transaction tab in your profile.

STEP 7: Proceed to the selected PRC Branch

1. If you have selected the PRC Cashier in payment option,  proceed to the cashier window to pay for the fees. Once already paid, you will be asked to print the generated document. Click the PRINT DOCUMENT button to download the file.

If you pay the required fees through online transaction, make sure to print the document before going to your selected PRC branch.

2. Sign the document (Application for Professional Identification Card) and present it to the Renewal Section window. Prepare the following documents required for the renewal of PRC ID:

  • Photocopy of latest PRC ID
  • CPD Certificates indicating CPD Credit units earned (Click here to see the matrix of required CPD) or Present the signed form of Self-Directed and/or Life Long Learning from your respective PRC CPD Council (Click here to read the procedure on crediting  Self Directed and/or Life Long Learning)
  • Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from your respective Accredited Professional Organization (this is only required for certain professions)

3. Once all submitted documents were checked and verified, they will start the process of ID renewal.

4. Wait for some time and your name will be called for claiming your new Professional Identification Card (PIC).

From PRC Notice Board, it was stated that professionals who are unable to comply with required CPD credit units are ALLOWED to renew their PRC ID upon signing an undertaking to complete the required credit units for the next compliance period. This undertaking can be availed off until December 31, 2020. 

For Balik Manggagawa OFW Professionals, a PRC Memorandum Order was released for the Guideline on the Processing and Releasing (Renewal) of the Professional Identification Cards (PIC) of the Balik Manggagawa OFWs. You can use this guideline for the renewal of your PRC ID.
