Beepâ„¢ card is a stored value contactless card used primarily as the fare system in the metro and light rail transit railways in Metro Manila – LRT1, LRT2 and MRT3. This card can also be used in selected Point-to-Point (P2P) buses and PUVs nationwide. Outside of public transportation, beepâ„¢ can also be used to pay for toll fees in NLEX and CAVITEX and is accepted in various retail establishments such as FamilyMart, Ministop, and Wendy’s. For easy and convenient access to your card, beep â„¢ introduced their mobile app. With this app, you can check the load balance and view your card transactions. This app is available on Google Play and the App Store.Â
For android users with NFC-enabled phones, additional features are available – to buy beep load and recharge the amount to the beep card via the beep app. To know if your Android phone is NFC-enabled, slide down your phone and find the NFC logo (see sample photo). Tap the icon to enable the feature. Another way to check this function is by going to your phone settings and search for the NFC and enable it from there.

If you do not have the Beep app yet, click the icon to download the app in Google Play or App Store. Please note that for iOS devices, you can only check the load balance of your beep card, but there is no option to reload via the app. Reloading via the app is only available in NFC-enabled android phones.

After successful registration and you able to add your beep card, you can now reload it. Just select the beep card and follow the following steps:
Reload Beep card using Shopee Pay account
In your Beep app, select the amount to reload and select Shopee Pay to pay for it. Follow the steps below to do this:
In Beep App
- In Beep app, tap the 3 straight line icon found at the bottom of the page. Then, select Buy beep Load.
- Select the card to load or you can also load unregistered card.
- Enter the amount to recharge or choose from the denomination list. And tap Continue button.
- Review and confirm details. Then, click Continue button.
- From the list of e-Wallets, select ShopeePay.
- A ShopeePay QR-code will be generated. Use your ShopeePay App to scan the QR code.
In ShopeePay App
- In your ShopeePay page, tap the Scan icon.
- Place your camera over the entire QR code to start scanning and detect the code.
- Once scanning is successful, the payment details will be displayed. Tap the Next button to continue.
- Make sure your ShopeePay account has an available balance to complete the transaction. Review details and tap Pay Now button.
- Enter your ShopeePay PIN to complete the payment.
- Payment has been successful. Go back to the Beep app to load the amount into the beep card.
Loading the amount in your Beepâ„¢ card
After the payment confirmation, go back to the Beep app. You need to tap your beep card at the back of your phone to load the amount that has been recharged.Â
