1 To start your online application, go to Security bank website or go directly to this link, https://www.securitybank.com/personal/accounts/online-application/.
Select the type of account you want to open from the list shown and click the Next Page button.
2 Choose if you do not have a Security Bank account yet or you already have one. Then, tap the Next Page button for the next step.
3 Read the Terms and Conditions and tick each box to agree. Then, click the Next Page button.
4 Fill-out the required details: Personal Information and Home Address/Permanent Address. Then, tap the Next Page button to continue.

Additional identifications (IDs) or documents may be required by our branch based on the interview and the type of account to be opened. The Bank reserves the right to decline account opening request based on its evaluations.
5 Select your Employment Type, Preferred day and time to call you for account verification. Next is to upload a valid ID and sign 3 times on white paper using black ink pen then, take a picture of it and upload a copy of your signature.
After uploading the required documents, select your preferred branch where you will pick up your account starter kit. And, press the Next Page button.
6 To complete your application, enter the characters you saw in the picture. This CAPTCHA helps prevent automated form submissions. And click the Submit button to send your account application.
7 An acknowledgement message will be displayed that your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted by the bank through email and SMS.
8 Wait for the email about the video call schedule for ID verification and signature. Before the call, prepare the ID that you used in your application and a blank paper with black pen for signature. Video call will take about 10 minutes.
During the call, Security Bank personnel will ask you about your application details. Then, you must present the same ID that you used in your application. And using the blank paper, you need to sign 3 times and show it to the bank personnel.
After the call, wait for the message about the status of your application.
9 Another email will be sent to you once your application has been approved. They will send the account details of your bank account. Fund your account and you can also register your account online.
Few reminders from the bank:
- Fund the account with at least the minimum balance within five (5) banking days upon receipt of the account number via online fund transfer, InstaPay, Over-the-Counter deposit, etc.
- Claim your requested ATM card within 30 calendar days at your branch of account. Unclaimed ATM card after the retention period will be discarded and replacement will be subject to an applicable fee.
- Kindly bring the same ID you have presented during the MS Teams interview upon claiming.
