How to link Union Bank account for easy funding of your Bayad app account

Bayad, previously know as the “Bayad Center” is now has a wallet app where in you can pay bills, buy mobile load and send money to other e-wallets and local bank accounts via InstaPay. Currently, sending money from the Bayad app to other banks and e-wallet is free.

Once you have installed the new Bayad app to your smartphone, sign-up for an account and fund it to maximize the use of available app features. For now, there are two available options to fund your account: (1) through Bayad Center branch over-the-counter, and (2) via Online Banking. There are three more ways to add money, but still not active; those are using Debit or Credit Card, Kiosk, and Remittance Centers.

For easy and free funding of your Bayad app, there are 3 online banks that you can link to your account: these are BPI, RCBC, and Union Bank. By linking these accounts to your Bayad app account, you can easily cash-in with no additional service charge.

For this guide, it shows the steps on how to link your Union Bank account to your Bayad app and fund it using the linked-RCBC account.

STEP 1. Link a Union Bank account to your Bayad account

STEP 2. Add Money via Union Bank-Linked account

You will notice that after linking the Union Bank account, an Unlink button will appear beside the Union Bank name. You have the option to unlink the account by clicking that button or it will be unlinked automatically after 30 days of inactivity. Now, follow the below steps to add money to your account:
