Once you have installed the new Bayad app to your smartphone or tablet and you able to sign-up an account, you need to fund your account to pay the bills. Currently, there are two available options to fund your account: (1) through Bayad Center branch over-the-counter, and (2) via Online Banking. There are three more ways to add money but still not active; those are using Debit or Credit Card, Kiosk, and Remittance Centers.
For this guide, it will show the steps on funding the Bayad E-Wallet using Union Bank mobile app. By linking a Union Bank account to your Bayad account, it will be much easier to add funds.
STEP 1. Link a Union Bank account to your Bayad account
1. Once you have logged to your Bayad app, on the main dashboard, tap the Add Money icon.
2. Select Online Banking tab and tap the Union Bank logo/name.
3. Enter the Username and Password for your Union Bank online account and press the LOG IN button.
4. Enter the 6-digit OTP that was sent on your registered mobile number.
5. Select the Union Bank account that you want to link.
6. You have successfully linked your Union Bank account to your Bayad account. Tap OK, I GOT IT! button to go back to the Add Money menu.

STEP 2. Add Money via Union Bank-Linked account
You will notice that after linking the Union Bank account, an Unlink button will appear beside the Union Bank name. You have the option to unlink the account by clicking that button or it will be unlinked automatically after 30 days of inactivity. Now, follow the below steps to add money to your account:
1. Tap the Union Bank logo/name again.
2. Select or enter the amount to be loaded. Minimum amount is Php 300.00. Then, press the NEXT button.
3. Review details and tap the CONFIRM button to proceed.
4. Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
5. Transaction was successfully completed. Tap the DONE button.
The amount will now appear in the Current Wallet Balance of your Bayad E-Wallet account.
