The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, more commonly known as OWWA, has recently launched a new mobile application that is aimed at providing an easier and more convenient way for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to check their membership status. Not only does this app allow OFWs to see their current status, but it also grants them access to view and update personal information. In addition, the app enables members to instantly and conveniently renew their OWWA membership through its secure and efficient online payment system. With this app, OFWs can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they can easily manage their OWWA membership, without the need to visit their nearest OWWA office. Best of all, the OWWA Mobile App is free and available for download in both the Google Play and App Store.
Are you a member of OWWA and interested in downloading their app but unsure how to do so? Well, worry no more because we have provided a quick guide on how to download and register an account on the OWWA app.
With the OWWA app, you can easily view your profile and renew your membership hassle-free. So, here’s how to get started. Firstly, make sure you have a stable internet connection to ensure a smooth download process. Secondly, head to the App Store or Google Play Store, depending on the device you’re using, and search for the “OWWA Membership” app. Once found, click the “Download” button, and allow the app to be installed on your device. Lastly, open the app and register using your personal details to create an account. And there you have it, easy as pie. Enjoy the convenient services provided by OWWA all on your mobile device with just a few clicks.

STEP 2. REGISTER OR LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT
STEP 3. CHECK OWWA MEMBERSHIP STATUS
To check your OWWA Membership status, go to the Information tab. If the status is ACTIVE, your membership is still valid until the stated validity date, while if INACTIVE, there is an option to renew your membership. To renew membership, tap the Renew Membership Here! button.

STEP 4. PAY FOR MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
A new page will open. Most details are already filled out. Just select the contract duration and enter your job position, then press the SUMBIT button.
Here are the options you can select where you can pay your membership renewal fee:
- LandBank/OFBank ATM Card
- BancNet
- Cash Payment
- E-Wallet Payment – GCash, Maya, ShopeePay, GrabPay
- Other Banks via PCHC PayGate
Select your preferred option to proceed with the transaction.
Pay Online via LandBank/OFBank ATM card
Pay via BancNet
Pay via Cash Payment
Pay via E-Wallet
There are 4 e-wallet to select to pay your OWWA renewal fee.
- GCash
- Maya
- ShopeePay
- GrabPay
Just choose one and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.
If you have selected GCash, here are the instruction to pay the fee.
- Login to your GCash account by entering your mobile number.
- Enter the 6-digit authentication code sent to your registered mobile number.
- Then type your 4-digit MPIN.
- Make sure you have enough balance on your GCash to pay for the fee.
- Review the details and tap Proceed button.
- Transaction is successful and will show the details the payment,

STEP 5. CHECK THE MEMBERSHIP STATUS
To check your OWWA Membership status, go to the Information tab. The status will turn ACTIVE once the payment has been posted and validity date will be updated also. You can also check the payment history to see the OR number and date of your recent payment.
Aside from the Member’s Profile, the app also shows the list of offered services and regional and overseas hotline numbers if you want to contact OWWA for your inquiries and concerns.

OWWA apps is not working hitting the submit button. The link take me to the landbank.epaymentportal then to mps.owwa.gov.ph. nothing happen. Is there any other option to pay with the e voucher claimed from OWWA rebate program? Where can i renew here in khobar saudi arabia?

Once you press the Renew Membership Here button, it will be directed to mps.owwa.gov.ph, where you need to select the contract duration (24 months) and your job position, and press the Submit button. Then, it will be directed to the epaymentportal.landbank. In the PAYMENT OPTION tab, there are 4 options to choose from: LandBank ATM, BancNet, Cash Payment, and Other Banks.
If these options are not available, you can contact OWWA hotline number. In the OWWA app, select the Hotlines icon and look for KSA Hotline number. There are two hotline listed for KSA, +966569819720 (KSA-Jeddah) and +966502850944 (KSA-Riyadh and Unaizah).
I’m not sure if E-voucher can be use for the renewal.

EC Pay is included as a payment partner to pay your OWWA renewal fee. In the Payment Options, select the Cash Payment and choose ECPay icon on the list. And follow the instructions on how to pay it.

Hello po. Nagbayad ako ng owwa ko last May 1, 2021 pero hindi ito nag-active. Ngayon lng sumagot ang owwa at sinabing hindi raw option ang ECPay. Did they just update their payment options? Hindi nman ako magbabayad that time kung hindi iyon kasali sa options.
Isend mo na ln po siguro yun proof of payment sa OWWA para maverify nila kung naprocess ba un payment.. and ask nyo din sa ECPay kung saan kayo nagbayad kung nacredit ba un bayad….
i think nasa list ng option ng ECPay, kaya di ko rin sure bakit hindi pwede dun… linawin mo na ln sa kanila at send ka ng proof of payment para macheck nila un payment transaction mo..

kung iphone ang gamit mo, minsan di naglo-load un page na yun… kung may Android phone ka, or try mo maglogin gamit ang Android phone, check mo kung may button na mag-aappear..

if you just paid the membership fee, payment posting might take a few days.
Once the payment is posted, your account will be in ACTIVE status.

Hello, it will be based on how long your payment will be posted, but normally, after 3 business days. Once payment has been posted, it will then reflect the ACTIVE status on your app.

I was trying to renew my membership online. All goes well except when it comes to payment section. There is no option to pay from overseas bank account. For instance, from NCB of Saudi Arabia or even using Mastercard. It can ONLY be paid using local bank account in the Philippines. How sad 🙁

Hi, once you click the RENEW MEMBERSHIP HERE button, it should open a new page in Chrome or Safari (whatever browser u are using) where you need to fill-up details and click Submit. I just tried my account, it was forwarded to that page… what i can suggest, try to logout and login again, then check if it will go through.

Is there really no way to pay via Credit Card issued outside of the Country? It is strange that OWWA serves for Overseas Filipino Workers yet, the cards/bank accounts they are looking for are solely based in the Philippines only. I would have sent someone to the cash payment center but I only have my parents with me back home who are senior citizens, and with the current pandemic situation, it is not the wisest thing to do.

You can only update your email address, contact number and address in the OWWA app. If you have the opportunity to visit any OWWA/POEA office, you can update your passport and other details. Otherwise, if you still have a copy of your old passport similar to what was registered, I think it is still ok.

Hi, in the OWWA app, go to the Payment History tab and check if the payment has been posted. Wait for at least 2-3 business days to reflect the payment in the app.
Also, check your BPI transaction history if it was deducted and not refunded back if an error occurred during your payment.

Hi, di pa ata nababasa nun nakapag try na ng BPI.. ang nakita ko sa option sa OWWA app, kapag pinili mo un BancNet, nasa list ng option ang BPI Direct Banko. Not sure kung pwede rin ang BPI dito.

Hi, when did you pay to renew your OWWA membership fee. I think it will take few days to be posted and updated in the app. You can also check the Payment History section in the OWWA app if your payment is posted already.

Hi, for information update, di pwede i-update online, kaya if you have time, I suggest visit ka na ln sa OWWA or sa POLO sa country kung saan ka man. Pero di naman siguro necessary agad-agad.
Nun nagrenew ako online, wala ako natanggap na email ng official receipt. Magrereflect naman under PAYMENT HISTORY sa app mo, un binayad mo with OR number. Screenshot mo na ln un para proof mo pati na rin un payment receipt mo kung saan ka nagbayad.

Sa tingin ko, kapag nagexceed na ng 5 years ang renewal need mo na ipaupdate un details mo sa OWWA lalo na kung sa ibang company ka na nagwowork at iba sa nakalista sa OWWA. Kung same pa rin naman, need mo pa rin bumisita sa OWWA office nearest you.
