In response to customers’ requests for easier and faster ways to find out their current water bills, Maynilad has launched its bill inquiry program via text messaging to provide billing information to customers. Based on its Facebook announcement, just text MAYNILAD <space> BILL <space> Contract Account Number, and send to 0919-1626-000.
According to Maynilad, the next water bill that they will be issuing to their customers will be estimated based on customers’ average water consumption over the past three months, as approved by the MWSS Regulatory Office (per MWSS RO-OPP-052-03). Corrections will just be applied to subsequent bills once they able to again deploy service providers to conduct an actual meter reading.
Where to find Contract Account Number (CAN)
Look for any previous Maynilad bill. The 8-digit Contract Account Number can be found in the first column of the water bill Service Information.
Find out your latest water bill via SMS
Compose a text message with the following format:
MAYNILAD<space>BILL<space>last 8-digit of contract number
E.g. MAYNILAD BILL 64554783
And send to 0919 1626 000
After you successfully send the text message in the correct format, MAYNILAD will then respond and send the outstanding balance of your water bill up to the date stated in the message.
