Fund Maya wallet for free by linking your UnionBank account

Top-up your Maya wallet for FREE by linking your bank account.  Currently there are four (4) banks available to link to Maya wallet: BPI, Chinabank, RCBC, and UnionBank.

Aside from linked bank accounts, there are other ways to fund your GrabPay wallet such as e-wallet and online bank transfer via InstaPay, debit card or credit card and over-the-counter payment centers. Just take note that for InstaPay and card transactions, there will be an additional fee for using these methods.

And for this guide, it will show the steps on how to link a UnionBank account to your Maya wallet account. On your first successful cash-in through a linked Bank, the account will be listed under Linked Bank Accounts. And for subsequent funding, simply select the linked account and no need to log into your UnionBank account again.

If you want to unlink your RCBC from your Maya wallet, follow the steps below:

  1. From the list linked account, select the UnionBank account.
  2. Tap the three dots (…) in-line with the UnioonBank account you want to remove and select Unlink account button.
  3. To confirm the unlink request, tap Unlink button.
  4. You have successfully unlinked your UnionBank account from Maya.

If you want to link back your UnionBank account, just follow the steps on how to link your account as shown above.

With the new Maya app, you can fund your wallet online via over-the-counter payment center, linked bank accunts, debit card or credit card and bank transfer. You will be able to send money to other Maya accounts, other local banks and e-wallets. 

You can also pay your bills, buy and reload mobile phones, and shop online via the app.
