Paying for your electricity bill? Do it online with GCash, anytime, anywhere. As of July 2021, there are 80 electric companies in the country listed in the electric utility category of the GCash app. With the Pay Bills feature, you can pay your electric bill either using your GCash fund or GCredit. When you have successfully paid the bill, the payment will be posted based on the biller, but mostly, it will be posted the next business day. And please also note that some billers apply an additional transaction fee.
Here is the complete list of Electric Utilities currently available in GCash, including, if the biller accepts GCredit payment, how long will the payment be posted, and if there is an additional fee applied. This list is as of July 2021, any changes to the terms and conditions may be applied by GCash without further notice.

No GCash fund?
As an example, here's how to pay for Meralco bill
1 On the main dashboard, tap the Pay Bills icon to start the process.
2 Under Biller Categories, select the Electric Utilities icon.
3 Under Electric Utilities, browse and tap the Meralco name.
4 Now, enter the 10-digit Customer Account Number (CAN) which is located on the Meralco bill. And input the amount due stated on your bill.
Click the NEXT button to continue.
6 Review your transaction, then click the CONFIRM button to process the payment.
7 Once the payment is successful, the payment reference number with the details of the transaction will be enumerated. Click the DONE button to go back to the main dashboard.
