How to transfer fund to other local banks using BDO Pay app

BDO Unibank introduces a new mobile wallet, BDO Pay. It is a mobile app where you can send and request money, pay bills, and Scan to Pay feature. The best thing here is no cash-in is required as your account will be linked to your BDO Online banking accounts.

 

The BDO Pay app is available to download in Google Play Store, App Store, and Huawei App Gallery. Once installed, you can use your BDO Online banking login credentials to register your account. Fund transfer to other local banks

 

As one of the features of BDO Pay, you will be able to send money from your enrolled BDO account to any BDO account and non-BDO account number via Instapay. The transaction fee for sending money is FREE via BDO Pay app as of the writing. For this guide, it will show the steps to transfer fund from BDO to other local banks.

  1. In the main dashboard of BDO Pay, tap the Pay icon in the bottom menu.
  2. A list of features will appear and press the Send Money button.
  3. To transfer fund to other local bank account, select Via non-BDO account number.
  4. Tap the Receiver’s Bank/Wallet field.
  5. Search or find receiver’s bank name in the list of banks/wallets.
  6. Enter the following details and press the Send button.
    1. Receiver’s bank account number or mobile number
    2. Receiver’s bank account name
    3. Amount to be transferred
    4. Source account (your enrolled BDO account)
  7. Review details and tap Confirm button to process the transaction.
  8. The transaction has been successful. A payment reference number of the transaction will be displayed.

Note: Below the Receiver’s Bank/Wallet field, you will notice a Service Fee: PhP 0.00. As of writing, the service fee for money transfer is free.
