Social Security System (SSS) is a social insurance program run by the government and provided for employees in the private, professional, and informal sectors.
SSS has a mobile app that allows members to have access to their contributions and membership records. And in the latest update, the online payment feature has been added by using Pay Maya and Debit or Credit Card is now available in the app.

STEP 1. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL SSS MOBILE APP
1. First, download the SSS mobile app, SSS Mobile, using Google Play for Android phones or download in the Apple Store for iOS users. Click the icon below and it will be directed to SSS mobile app.
Click this icon for Android user and it will open SSS Mobile app in Google Play
Click this icon for Iphone and Ipad users and it will open SSS Mobile app in App Store
Click this icon for Huawie users and it will open SSS Mobile app in the App Gallery
STEP 2. OPEN SSS MOBILE APP AND LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT
Below is the SSS Mobile App icon, on your phone, click this icon to open SSS login menu.
In the login menu, enter your User ID and Password and click the SIGN IN button to open your SSS account.
STEP 3. ACCESS EXISTING PRN OR GENERATE NEW PRN
To pay for your SSS contributions, tap the Generate PRN/SOA button.
Select the PRN that you want to pay. Or you have the option to generate a new PRN by clicking the CREATE (upper-left) button.

STEP 4. PAY SSS CONTRIBUTION VIA PAY MAYA
1. Tap the PAY button in line with the SSS PRN that you want to pay.
2. There are two payment methods available to pay for your contributions:
- Pay with PayMaya account
- Credit Card/Debit Card
For this tutorial, Pay with PayMaya account will be used. Press that option.
3. A pop-up message will appear showing the details of the payment. Take note of the Php 10 convenience fee for using Pay Maya.
Tap the OK button to continue.
4. Enter your Pay Maya account details:
- Email address or Mobile Number
- Password
Then, click the Log In button to proceed.
5. A One-Time-Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered Pay Maya mobile number. Enter that OTP code in the space provided and tap the Proceed button.
6. Once you have successfully accessed your Pay Maya account, available balance fund will appear and the amount to be paid. To continue, press the Confirm Payment button.
7. After the payment has been confirmed, the details of the payment will appear. And this page will redirect back to your SSS mobile account.
8. A pop-up message will show the payment details with the reference number. Click the OK button to close the message.
9. To verify if the payment for the specific contributions has been reflected to your account, click the My Contributions icon.
10. For this tutorial, the contributions paid for the month of October 2019 have been updated on the SSS account.
Hi, may I ask how soon will the payment gets posted to SSS? I used the Credit Card/Debit Card option, it has been 3 days and it’s not reflected yet in SSS portal. Unlike GCash whereby it gets posted almost immediately. Thank you.

I tried the credit card option also to pay for my April contri and it was posted right after the payment. However, when I pay for my Jan-Mar contri with the Pay Maya option, until now (nun May 16 ako nagbayad) it is not yet posted. So I assume that if you pay for a month contri it will be reflected right away. And for 2months or more in 1 PRN, they might be a verification first. I think it will be reflected (I hope) after 3 working days (wednesday pa cguro, in my case).

Thanks for the reply sir. I always pay kasi thru GCash, for some reason nawala SSS sa bills payment option. I paid me and my wife’s April contri last May 15 via CC pero it’s not posted till now. Hoping it will get posted within this week. Else, kanino pwede i verify ang payment sir? Do you have any email address of SSS regarding payment queries?
Oo nga no, nawala sa GCash, ngayon ko ln din napansin. Baka dahil ka-tieup na nila Pay Maya.

Yes sir, checked this morning and both payments have been posted. Will continue to use this payment option till SSS is back in GCash bills payment. Thank you again sir.
Good to know, sir. One more option you can try is the Bayad Center app, SSS payments are still available on their Pay Bills.

Goos day sir, how long will it take before payment will be visible in SSS when paying using paymaya? I paid June 1 pero hanggang ngayon wala pa po? Thank you in advance.
Hello, last time I paid using Pay Maya (May 16, Sat), the payment was updated after 5 days or 3 working days (May 20, Wed). Looks like it takes time to validate payment ngayon. Pero, when i paid using credit card (same time – for another SSS account), right away the payment was posted. Minsan baka dahil sa system ln din nila.
Just wait, maybe until Monday or Tuesday, dapat updated na un.
