Beep™ card is a stored value contactless card used primarily as the fare system in the metro and light rail transit railways in Metro Manila – LRT1, LRT2 and MRT3. This card also can be used in selected Point-to-Point (P2P) buses and PUVs nationwide. For easy and convenient access to your card, beep ™ introduced their mobile app. With this app, you can check the load balance and view your card transactions. This app is available on Google Play and the App Store.
For android users with NFC-enabled phones, additional features are available – to buy beep load and recharge the amount to the beep card via the beep app. To know if your Android phone is NFC-enabled, slide down your phone and find the NFC logo (see sample photo). Tap the icon to enable the feature. Another way to check this function is by going to your phone settings and search for the NFC and enable it from there.

If you do not have the Beep app yet, click the icon to download the app via Google Play or App Store. Please note that for iOS devices, you can check the load balance of your beep card, but there is no option to reload via the app. Reloading via the app is only available for NFC-enabled android phones.

After successful registration and you able to add your beep card, you can now reload it. Just select the beep card and follow the following steps:

After the payment confirmation, go back to the Beep app. You need to tap your beep card at the back of your phone to load the amount that has been recharged.
