You can access it either through their user-friendly website or the Meralco app – two easy ways to manage your bills and payments without going to any physical office! To view and check your Meralco bill online, you must first create an online account. Follow the quick guide below on how to register an account to access your Meralco account.
Step 1: Download Meralco app or go to Meralco Online website
You can download Meralco app in Google Play Store for Android phones and tablets or in the Apple Store for iPhone and iPad users. Click the icon below and it will be directed to Meralco mobile app. You can also find this mobile app by typing Meralco in Google Play or Apple store search tab.
Aside from the Meralco app, you can also register and access your account using the Meralco Online website.

Step 2: Online Registration
1 For first time user, you need to register an account. Tap the Register button to start the process.
2 Enter the required details
- Email address – your personal email
- First Name – your first name
- Middle Name – your middle name
- Last Name – your last name
- Mobile Number – your mobile number
- Service ID No – this number is in your Meralco bill sheet under Service Info
- If you select “I already have a Meralco bill” – You need to enter Bill Date and Total kWh (any previous bill)
3 Meralco will send a confirmation email. Open that email and click the link in the message to proceed with the registration. If you can’t find the validation email in your inbox, it might be sent to your spam folder.
4 Create a password for your account. It must contain all of the following:
- Upper case letter
- Lower case letter
- Number
- 8 characters (minimum)
E.g. vXd2By361
Enter your password and retype it for confirmation. Then, tap the Set Password button.
Step 3: Login to your Meralco Online Account
Once you successfully created a password. You may now login to access your Meralco Online Account via Meralco website or Meralco app. Enter your Email address and Password, then press the Log In button.

Bills and Payments
To view your unpaid bill, go to Bills and Payments tab. Link for bill payment is also available on this page.
Consumption Report
To view your consumption per month, go to Consumption Report tab.
Understanding your May bill
As part of the ECQ period, some March and all April bills were estimated based on the past 3 months’ average daily consumption following the Distribution Services and Open Access Rules (DSOAR) issued by the ERC.
These past 3 months- December 2019, January 2020 and February 2020, were considered “low consumption” months as these were significantly cooler months compared to the summer months of March, April and May.
Aside from these, the following factors may have affected your May bill:
- Increased consumption during ECQ- Everyone’s at home, so appliances are switched on most of the time, especially fans and aircons. Aircons which most would use 6 to 8 hours per day before ECQ could be using it for 12 to 24 hours per day in ECQ.
- Temperatures are at record high (max so far for 2020 is at 37.3⁰C with Heat Index of 42⁰C)
- Actual Consumption minus Estimated Consumption was added in the May bill.
The May bill is a result of the actual kWh Consumption from the current meter reading, less the estimated consumption.
