Here are the documentary requirements for the renewal of Professional Identification Card (PIC) or PRC ID:

1. Duly accomplished Application Form for PIC

For walk-in applicants, you need to fill-up the Application for Professional Identification Card (PIC)

2. Two (2) pcs passport size pictures with white background, without eyeglasses

3. Photocopy of latest PRC ID Card

4. Proof of CPD Compliance

Proof of CPD Compliance issued by Accredited CPD Providers

Present valid certificates of seminars and training or other CPD activities attended. Here is the matrix of the required CPD units per profession.

Non Compliance

From PRC Notice Board, it was stated that professionals who are unable to comply with the required CPD credit units are ALLOWED to renew their PRC ID upon signing an undertaking to complete the required credit units for the next compliance period. This undertaking can be availed off until December 31, 2020. Make sure to fill-up the Undertaking portion in the Application form for PIC.

5. Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from the Accredited Integrated Professional Organization (AIPO), if applicable

For certain professions, a Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from their respective Accredited Professional Organization, is required to be submitted. Here are the list of professions that require submission of COGS:

 

Professions to submit an updated certificate of good standing from their respective Accredited Professional Organization (APO) are the following:
  • Aeronautical Engineers
  • Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers
  • Architects
  • Customs Brokers
  • Registered Electrical Engineers / Professional Electrical Engineer / Registered Master Electrician
  • Profesional Electronics Engineers / Electronics Engineer / Electronics Technician
  • Geodetic Engineers
  • Guidance and Counseling
  • Environmental Planner
  • Interior Designers
  • Landscape Architects
  • Librarian
  • Psychologist / Psychometrician
  • Real Estate Services
  • Respiratory Therapist

Contact your respective AIPO and ask the requirements to obtain a Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from them.
