Link your Metrobank account now for easy and free cash-in to your Lazada wallet. You must have online access to your Metrobank account to do the linkage. If you have a Metrobank account, but not registered yet in Metrobank Mobile or Online Banking, here is a guide you can follow.

This payment method, linking a Metrobank account to Lazada wallet, is safe and secure as it requires an OTP that will be sent to your registered number and need to be entered before any cash-in transaction. 

In this guide, it will show the steps on how to link and cash-in with your Metrobank account to Lazada wallet. And aside from MetroBank, you can also link BPI and UnionBank accounts.

To link your Metrobank account and top-up your Lazada wallet for free, here is the guide that you can follow:

1. Tap your Lazada account and select your Balance under Lazada wallet..

  1. Upon opening your Lazada app, tap the Account icon located at the bottom menu. And, under Lazada Wallet section, select your Balance. Or tap Cash in button just below the balance and it will be directed to Top up amount screen.
  2. Once your Lazada wallet is open, press the Cash In button.
  3. Select or enter the amount you want to top-up and click Proceed button.
  4. Tap the View all cash in methods forward arrow/button.
  5. Under Bank Account, choose Add Metrobank account.
  6. Read the instructions to cash in with Metrobank and tap Confirm button.
  7. Tick (✓) the box if you have a Metrobank online banking account. If you have a Metrobank account, but no online access yet, you need to register it first. Click here for the guide to register your Metrobank account online. And make sure also that you have an active mobile number to receive the OTP.
  8. Login to your Metrobank online account by entering your username and password and tap the LOGIN button.
  9. Select the Metrobank account you want to link. Tick the box to allow account linkage and press NEXT button.
  10. Review the bank details to confirm and click NEXT button.
  11. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your registered mobile number and click SUBMIT button.
  12. Wait for a few seconds while processing the transaction. 
  13. Once the transaction has been successful, it will display the new total balance of your Lazada wallet. Tap Back to Home to start your shopping.

Unlink MetroBank account

If you want to unlink your account, you can do it anytime, just follow the steps stated below:

  1. In your Lazada Wallet menu, tap Payment Options icon.
  2. Under Bank Account, select the Metrobank-linked account.
  3. Press the three-dots icon and tap Delete Payment Option.
  4. To confirm the deletion of linked account, click Yes, delete button.
  5. Deletion is successful. Your MetroBank account is no longer linked to your Lazada wallet. 

You can add and link your bank account again anytime.
