How to download and install Metrobank Mobile Banking app

Metrobank introduces mobile banking app with an easy-to-navigate and customizable interface, banking services such as balance inquiry, bills payment, and funds transfer capabilities, as well as useful services such as buying and sending mobile load, branch locator and rate checking all on your mobile phone.

This app offers a full online enrollment using your Metrobank Debit Card or Credit Card to activate your account without having to go to a branch or ATM machine.

STEP 1. Download and Install Metrobank Mobile Banking

1. First, download the Metrobank Mobile Banking app, using Google Play for Android phones or download in the Apple Store for iPhone and iPad users. Click the icon below and it will be directed to Metrobank Mobile Banking mobile app.  You can also find this mobile app by typing Metrobank Mobile Banking in Google Play or Apple Store search tab.

2. Click INSTALL for Android users or GET for iOS users to start the Metrobank Mobile Banking app installation on your device.

3. Once installed, click OPEN to start using the mobile app or tap the Metrobank mobile icon on your smart phone.

STEP 2: Sign-up an Account

1. Once you open the app, tap the Sign Up button to enroll your account for mobile banking. If you’ve enrolled your account using the Metrobank direct Internet banking website, use the same username and password to access your account on your mobile. If you prefer to enroll your account using the Metrobank direct internet banking, here is the link:

2. Read and understand the terms and conditions for using the Metrobank Mobile Banking. Press the ACCEPT button to confirm it. 

3. Enter your personal details for the enrollment: First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Preferred Username, Email Address, and your Mobile Number. Then, click the NEXT button.

4. Review the details you have entered and tap the SUBMIT button to confirm the enrollment.

5. Wait for an email from Metrobank to receive the temporary password to access Metrobank Mobile Banking.

6. Go back to Metrobank app, enter your Username, this name is the Preferred Username you have indicated on your enrollment. For the Password, enter the temporary password you have received from Metrobank in your email. Then, tap the LOGIN button to continue.

 

7.  Update your password to replace the temporary password provided to you. In Old Password, enter the temporary password, then create a new password and retype to confirm the new password. Once complete, press the SUMBIT button. 

8. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number via SMS. Enter the 6-digit OTP and tap the SUMBIT button.

 

9. Press the ACCEPT button to agree with the terms and conditions of using Metrobank Mobile Banking.

10. To enroll an account, click the YES button for the next step.

11. There are 3 types of account you can enroll: Current or Savings Account, Debit or Prepaid Card, and Credit Card. 

A. To enroll a Current or Savings Account, enter the Account Alias (you can write your name or a unique name to specify the account), 13-Digit Account Number and Date of Birth. Then, tap the SUMBIT button for verification and activation.

 

B. To enroll a Debit or Prepaid Card, enter the Card Alias (you can write your name or a unique name to specify the account), 16-Digit ATM Card Number, ATM PIN, and Date of Birth. Then, tap the SUMBIT button for verification and activation.

 

C. To enroll a Credit Card, enter the Card Alias (you can write your name or a unique name to specify the account), 16-Digit Card Number, Exact Name on Card, Card CVV (Back of Card), and the Expiray Date (in MMYY format). Then, tap the SUMBIT button for verification and activation.
