How to shop groceries online using Puregold Mobile App

Puregold recently launched the Puregold Mobile app which serves as a shopping ally or SALLY to customers. The main feature of the app is a cart-less grocery shopping experience for loyal Puregold customers. Shoppers have two options for ordering grocery items in the app, either by scanning the barcode of the products or using the search tab by typing the specific keywords to select the item.

Upon checkout, there are three available payment methods to choose from: GCash, Debit Card or Credit Card, and Pay-In Store. Once your order has been placed, a customer service representative will contact you to finalize your order. Then, monitor the status of your order in your Mobile app, until it is ready for pick-up at your chosen Puregold branch. In the new update of the app, delivery option is now available in Metro Manila and other areas in Luzon.

STEP 1. Download and Install Puregold Mobile App

1. First, download the Puregold Mobile using Google Play for Android phones or download in the Apple Store for iPhone and iPad users. Click the icon below and it will be directed to the app.

2. Click INSTALL for Android users or GET for iOS users to start the Puregold Mobile app installation on your device.

3. Once installed, click OPEN to start using the mobile app or tap the Puregold mobile icon on your smart phone.

STEP 2. Sign-up for an Account

1. For new users, you have 3 options to sign-up for an account: Facebook account, Google account or Sign Up with Email. For this tutorial, Facebook account was used for the registration. Click the Continue to Facebook button.

 

2. If you are already login to your Facebook account, your profile will pop-up. Tap the CONTINUE AS (YOUR NAME) for the next step.

 

3. Then, enter your mobile number. This is required to send alerts and notifications about the status of your order. Click the Next button to continue

4. A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your mobile number. Enter that code in the space provided and tap the Submit button.

 

5. If you have a Puregold Loyalty Card (Tindahan ni Aling Puring (TNAP) or Puregold Perks Card), enter the card number and click the Verify button for verification.

If you do not have a Puregold Loyalty Card, click the Skip button to proceed.

6. If you sign-up an account successfully, you will be directed to the Puregold Mobile app main menu.

 

STEP 3. Start your grocery shopping experience

1. To start your order, select Store Pickup or Delivery. For this guide, Store Pick-up has been selected. For delivery option, click here

2. Select the nearest available Puregold Branch in your area.

3. You have two options to order an item: either by using the Scan Barcode or the Search tab.

  • SCAN BARCODE: Press the Scan icon to scan an item. For example, look for the bar code of an alcohol that you want to buy. Align the bar code in your smartphone to detect the description. If valid, the item will be added to your cart. Click the item to double check the details.
  • SEARCH TAB: Tap the Search icon located in the upper right corner of the Cart menu. Type the Brand or Category to find an item. For example, type Great Taste to find a Great Taste coffee brand and look for the specific item you need. If you confirm that it is the item you are looking for, click the ADD TO CART button to add it to your order list. 

4. All products that you have ordered will be added to your cart list. To change the quantity of the product, click the plus (+) or minus (-) button beside each item.  And for removing an order in your cart, swipe the product to the left and press the REMOVE button to delete it.

STEP 4. Checkout and Place your order

1. Double-check all items in your shopping list. The total amount of your order is also displayed below the cart menu for your information. Click the Checkout button to proceed to payment. 

2. In this Checkout menu, click the Select Payment Method. There are three (3) available Payment Method you can choose from: GCash, Credit/Debit Card, and Pay-In Store. For this tutorial, Pay-In Store has been selected. Then, click the Place Order button to proceed. 

3.  An order number will be generated for your order. A customer service representative from Puregold will contact you once the order is finalized. To monitor the progress of your order, click the My Orders button.

4. On this menu, you can monitor the status of your order until it is ready for pick up. Aside from this, you will also receive a text message regarding the progress of your order. 

STEP 5. Wait for a call and monitor the status of your order

Once a costumer service representative contacted you, he/she will inform you if all the items in your order are available or not. If in case a product is not available, you have the option to cancel it or replace with alternative items. The changes in your order will be reflected also in your Puregold Mobile app.

And when you agree with the changes or if all your items are available, the next step is Awaiting Payment. If you have selected Pay-In Store, take note of the pickup time stated in the your order progress page, and proceed to Puregold branch you have selected to pay and receive the order.

NOTE: There is a separate line for Pick-up so no need to fall in line

STEP 6. Pick-up your order at your chosen Puregold Branch

Proceed to the Puregold Branch you have selected to picku-up your order. Go directly to the Pick-up area for Puregold Mobile App users. 

The status of your order will be complete once you have paid and collected the items. This status is also reflected in your  Puregold Mobile app account.

1. To start your order, select the Delivery option.

2. Read the delivery guidelines and tap the Accept Terms button to agree with the terms and conditions. 

3. Add your delivery address.

4. Select the Puregold Branch available in your area.

5. Select the items you need and add to your cart. 

6. For the next step, go to STEP 4 for checkout and payment, then STEP 5 to monitor your order

7. Once your order has been finalized, wait for a call or text confirmation for delivery schedule.

      Di ko ln po sure Ma’am, base po sa Puregold app, pwede ang pickup sa Puregold Pacific Mall at Puregold Crossing, Cabanatuan. Para po macheck kung nagdedeliver sa area nyo, kapag nainstall nyo un app, at nag-enter kayo ng delivery address, lalabas po un Puregold branch na nagdedeliver sa area nyo. kung wala, baka pick-up option ln po.

            The app is not working. I’ve been trying to shop online for a pickup or delivery but the app keeps on stopping. I’m shopping from canada to be picked up at Puregold Sta Rosa or even delivery but everytime I click the Place Order it just circles back to the Cart then the app will crash. I’ve chatted with Puregold Mobile help, gave them screen recording of how it happens, but they are no help, can’t find a fix. I’ve also left chat messages at Sally few days ago but no response at all. Very frustrating.

            Hi, i just tried the app to check if I will experience the same thing (I am currently in KSA – Saudi), but I able to click the Place Order and it proceeds to the next step.

            Can you check if your app is updated in latest version? try to update the app, if not yet updated in the latest version. Or maybe in your area, there is some restriction that the app is not allowed to use some payment method, like credit card. or try another phone to access the Puregold app? just to see if it will push through…
