Fund your GrabPay account for FREE by linking your bank account. Currently there are two banks available to link to GrabPay wallet: BPI and Union Bank. BDO is also listed, but currently unavailable as of this writing.
Aside from linked bank account, there are other ways to fund your GrabPay wallet such as e-wallet and online bank transfer via InstaPay, debit card or credit card. Just take note that for InstaPay and card transactions, there will be an additional fee for using these methods.
For this guide, it will show the steps on how to link your BPI and to fund the GrabPay wallet using the linked BPI account.
Link BPI to GrabPay account
- In the Grab main dashboard, tap the Balance icon.
- In the GrabPay wallet, press Cash-in button.
- From the list of cash-in methods, select Linked Bank Account.
- Choose BPI to request bank link.
- To start linking the account, tap Link Now button.
- Enter your BPI online login credentials, username and password and tap Accept button.
- Your request has been submitted. Tap OK to continue.
Top-up using the BPI-Linked account
- Once the link is approved, the linked BPI account will be listed under Your linked account. Select that account to top-up your GrabPay wallet.
- Enter the amount you want to cash-in and press Next button.
- Review details and confirm. Then, click Cash In button to process the transaction.
- Enter the 6-digit OTP code sent to your registered mobile number.
- Top-up has been successful. Check your balance if the amount has been added to your account.
Unlink Account
- To unlink your BPI-linked account, go to GrabPay wallet menu and tap the Settings icon located at the upper right corner.
- Select All payment methods.
- From the list of linked bank accounts, select the BPI account you want to unlink.
- Once selected, tap the Unlink Account and it will be removed from the list of linked bank accounts.
