Pay Maya is now Maya. It is the new all-in-one money app. In addition to Maya Wallet, you can now save and grow your money using the Maya Savings.
With the new Maya app, you can fund your wallet online via over-the-counter payment center, linked bank accunts, debit card or credit card and bank transfer. You will be able to send money to other Maya accounts, other local banks and e-wallets.
You can also pay your bills, buy and reload mobile phones, and shop online via the app.
As mentioned, one way to fund your Maya wallet is to link a bank account. It is an easier way to cash in and there is no additional convenience fee. Currently there are 4 banks that you will be able to link to your Maya account: BPI, China Bank, RCBC and Union Bank.
And for this guide, it will show the steps on how to link a BPI account to your Maya wallet account. On your first successful cash-in through a linked Bank, the account will be listed under Linked Bank Accounts. And for subsequent funding, simply select the linked account. There is no need to log into your BPI account again, but an OTP is still required for security purposes and to complete the process.
