How to transfer fund from GCash to a Local Bank and other E-Money account

In addition to GCash's bill payments and mobile reload features, you can also transfer money from your GCash account to a local bank (BDO, BPI, Metrobank, etc) and to non-bank e-money issuers (Pay Maya, Coins, Cebuana). This GCash feature is powered by InstaPay where you can send money electronically and make the funds available to their recipient in real-time.

To send money via InstaPay, customers need to access their bank’s or e-money issuer’s mobile app or internet banking facility, choose to send to another institution via InstaPay, and provide the required details.

Download the GCash mobile app, using Google Play for Android phones or download in the Apple Store for iPhone and iPad users. Click the icon below and it will be directed to GCash mobile app.  You can also find this mobile app by typing GCash in Google Play or Apple Store search tab.

1 On the main dashboard, tap the Bank Transfer icon to start the process.

2 Select the local bank where you will send the money.

3 Enter the amount to be transferred and fill up the Bank Account Name, Account Number, and your email address.

Then, tap the SEND MONEY button for the next step.

4 Verify the details you have entered and press the CONFIRM button to process the money transfer. This money transfer is powered by InstaPay.

5 Once the transaction has been successful, the details of your money transfer will appear with the ticket number and GCash reference number. And, the transaction receipt will be sent also to your email address. 

Then, ask and confirm with the recipient if the amount has been transferred to the given account number.
