Union Bank is one the bank institutions that uses Instapay where clients can send money to other local bank and e-wallets accounts. With InstaPay, you can now transfer funds in real-time between accounts of participating BSP-supervised banks and non-bank e-money issuers in the Philippines. It is an electronic fund transfer (EFT) service where you can transfer money electronically and make the funds available to the recipient instantly. To send money via InstaPay, customers need to access their bank’s or e-money issuer’s mobile app or internet banking facility, then select the option to send to other banks or e-wallets via InstaPay, and provide the required details for the transaction to complete the process.
For customers with a Union Bank Online account, below is the step-by-step guide on how to transfer funds from your Union Bank account to a Coins,ph account via the Union Bank app.
Transfer Funds from Union Bank to Coins.ph account
- In the main dashboard, tap the Send Money icon.
- Select Other Banks or E-Wallets from the list.
- Choose sending money via Instapay for realtime transfer.
- From the drop-down menu, select Coins.ph and enter the Coins.ph account number of mobile number and the account name to which the funds will be transferred. Then, tap the Next button.
- Enter the amount to be sent and select the purpose of the transfer.
- Review the details of the transaction, then tap the TRANSFER button to send the money.
- A One-Time-Password will be sent to your Union Bank registered mobile number. Enter the 6-digit OTP to continue.
- A notification will appear once the money transfer has been successful. You can go back to the main dashboard or make another transaction.
