InstaPay is an electronic fund transfer (EFT) service that allows customers to transfer Philippine Peso funds in real-time between accounts of participating BSP-supervised banks and non-bank e-money issuers in the Philippines.
DiskarTech which is powered by RCBC as well as Chinabank are two of the participating banks that use InstaPay. To transfer funds, customers need to access their bank’s or e-money issuer’s mobile app or internet banking facility and select transfer money feature using InstaPay.
For Chinabank app users, below is the step-by-step guide on how to send money to a DiskarTech account via Instapay with the Chinabank Mobile Banking app.

Login to your account
1. Enter your User ID and Password to open your account.
2. From the left menu, select Pay or Transfer.
Add Payee
To start, you must add the DiskarTech account first as a PAYEE.
1.Select the TO OTHER tab and tap the ADD PAYEE button.
2. Browse the list of banks available and select RCBC/DISKARTECH. Enter the DiskarTech account number and nominate a nickname for the account. Then, tap the NEXT button.
3. Review details and confirm.
4. Input the 5-digit OTP sent to your mobile number.
5. Once you have successfully added a payee, go back to Pay or Transfer page.
Trasnfer money to DiskarTech account
1. Select the DiskarTech account to which you want to transfer funds.
2. Enter the amount to be sent and tap the NEXT button.
3. Double-check the details you have entered and confirm transaction.
4. Enter the 5-digit OTP sent to your mobile number.
5. Transaction has been successful and will display the transaction details.
Once the transaction has been successful, check the DiskarTech app to see if the amount has been added to the recipient’s account.
