How to pay Meralco bill with BPI Mobile app

The BPI Mobile app is where you can access your BPI accounts online and do banking anytime, anywhere. It can be downloaded on your phone via Google Play or App Store.

With BPI Mobile app, here are the services you can do online:

Fund transfer
- To other BPI account
- To e-wallets account (GCash, Maya, Shopee, Bayad)
- To other local banks via InstaPay
Bills Payment
- Government Services (SSS, Pag-IBIG, etc) via BPI eGOV
- Utilities and Services
- Other Bills
Reload prepaid mobile phones, utilities and prepaid card

Other features include detailed views of BPI accounts, Mobile Key for secured transaction and set your debit card’s limits for purchase.

Bills Payment

With Pay Bills, you can pay dues in just a few clicks through the BPI Mobile app. But before you can pay your bills, you need to enroll the biller which you can also do in the app.

Enroll Meralco as a Biller

To add Meralco as a Biller, follow these steps:

In the main dashboard, tap the left menu and select Other Services – Manage Billers and Payees.
As a new biller, press Add New Recipient.
Under the Recipient field, select Billers.
From the list of billers, search and choose Manila Electric Company (MERALCO).
In the Reference Number field, enter the Meralco Customer Account Number and tap the Next button.
Review details you have entered and press Confirm button to continue.
To continue, a 6-digit code will be sent to your registered mobile number
Enter the 6-digit OTP code received via SMS and tap the Submit button.
Enrollment of biller has been successful.

STEP 1. In the left menu, tap Other Services and select Manage Billers and Payees. — STEP 1. In the left menu, tap **Other Services** and select **Manage Billers and Payees**.

STEP 4. Select Meralco from the list of billers. — STEP 4. Select **Meralco** from the list of billers.

STEP 5. Enter Customer Account Number under Reference Number. — STEP 5. Enter **Customer Account Number** under Reference Number.

STEP 7. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number.

STEP 9. Meralco has successfully added as biller.

Pay Meralco bill

In the main dashboard, tap the left menu again, and under Payments/Load, select Pay Bills.
Select the Savings Account from which the amount will be deducted.
From the list of enrolled billers, select Meralco.
Enter the amount to be paid and tap Next button.
Review details and press the Confirm button to process the payment.
Enter your 6-digit PIN code via the Mobile Key.
The bill payment has been successful. It will display the transaction details of the said payment.
